New Country Music Releases 12/18/07
Sigh. It is yet another week of no new country music album releases. That’s right. There are zero country music artists releasing new albums this week. You would think someone would have taken advantage of all of those last minute Christmas shoppers and released a nice stocking stuffer, but it just didn’t happen this year. If you got someone on your list a Karaoke machine, perhaps this week isn’t a total wash for you, however. There is a new karaoke country music disk out this week. It’s the country music hits of 2007, and it is volume 2, so you can also pick up the first one and have a complete set to wrap up.
There are also a couple new compilation CDs out this week. One is just called “Pure Country” and could probably be just about anything, but could possibly be a new version of the movie soundtrack. The other new release is of American Cowboy Songs.
Hopefully the new releases will pick up after the holidays and we’ll get some great new country music to listen to as we ring in 2008. Who are you most excited to hear from in the new year?
