More CMA News
We’re down to only two weeks left to wait before the CMA awards air (Wednesday November 7, 2007 beginning at 8 pm ET on ABC) and the number of performers is seemingly growing every day. Even more acts were announced recently for the supposedly only 2 hour broadcast, but I can’t help but wonder how all of these artists are going to perform and all of the awards are going to be given out in that short amount of time. I just know I can’t wait to find out! It’s shaping up to be a great show.
The latest announced artists include Alison Krauss, Jason Aldean, and American Idol finalist Kelly Pickler. Both Pickler and Aldean are nominated for the Horizon Award, which is given to the year’s biggest up and coming country music star. There were also a few more award presenters announced. The newest presenters added to the list were Sheryl Crow, Gretchen Wilson, and Blake Shelton.
If you just can’t get enough CMA news and updates, you’re in luck. The show’s producers have promised even more announcements concerning the show and which stars will be attending, performing, presenting, and even hosting. So far, only Sara Evans and LeAnn Rimes have been confirmed hosts, but more will be added as the date of the ceremony nears.
