Leann Rimes Urges Kids to “Go Green”
Global warming is a hot topic in the media right now (no pun intended) and even country music superstars are doing their part to help the environment. Leann Rimes has joined forces with All brand detergent to encourage elementary school students to “Go Green”. The company’s “all small & mighty” division is currently on the lookout for the “greenest” elementary school student in the country.
Do you have a little environmentalist in your home? The contest is currently still open for entrants and it has some really great prizes for the winner. Not only will the winning school receive a $50,000 check to make environmentally friendly improvements to the school, each student in the entire school will be given a solar powered iPod Shuffle and the winners will be featured on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show”. All entries must be received by November 26th, and the winners will be announced in January. Nine other finalists will receive $5000 for their schools.
Are you ready to enter? Just head on over to the Go Green With All website and read over the official rules and find out how to participate. There are also some great tips on how to make your home more environmentally friendly with some easy and small changes you can make to your everyday habits.
Good luck to those who enter and Go Green!
