Country Music Charts, Week Ending 3/1/08
It sure is a good week to be Chris Cagle. Not only did his newest hit “What Kinda Gone” enter the top ten country music singles for the first time, he was able to knock Taylor Swift out of the top spot on the country music albums charts with his new release “My Life’s Been a Country Song”. It’s good to see him come back after such a rough time with his vocal cord problems and recover with great new music.
Rodney Atkins kept his number one spot on the singles chart this week with “Cleaning This Gun” and Kenny Chesney and George Strait’s duet “Shiftwork” climbed its way up to number two this week and is knocking on the door to that top spot. Trace Adkins also made an appearance for the first time this week in the top ten with his latest single “You’re Gonna Miss This”.
