Country Music Charts, Week Ending 2/2/08
Brad Paisley hangs strong this week in the number one position on the Top Ten Country Music Singles chart with his latest hit “Letter to Me”. There wasn’t much movement at all on the singles charts, except Sugarland and their song “Stay” continued to plummet down the charts landing at number ten this week.
On the albums charts this week, Taylor Swift was still the one to beat with her self titled debut album staying at number one. There wasn’t much movement in that chart, either, except for the entry of Chuck Wicks at number 7 with his new album “Starting Now”. I’m sure his album will continue to climb the charts since there hasn’t been many new albums in a long while and his single “Stealing Cinderella” continues to get heavy airplay on country music radio stations.
