Country Music Charts, Week Ending 2/16/08

I was just sitting here posting this week’s top ten country music singles and top ten country music albums when I about fell asleep from the sheer boredom of no change in either chart this week. Okay, so that is a bit of an exaggeration because a couple of the top ten singles switched spots, and Carrie Underwood’s debut album “Some Hearts” reappeared at number 8 on the album charts, but really is that a surprise? After Carrie’s win at the Grammys and her skimpy outfit during her “Before He Cheats” performance, you knew people would go out to buy the album that song was on.

Anyway, if you’ve forgotten what the charts looked like last week or just want to read them again this week, you can catch both top ten singles and top ten albums charts after the jump. Just don’t operate heavy machinery while you’re reading.
