Country Music Charts, Week Ending 1/5/08
Welcome to the first country music charts of the new year! So far, there hasn’t been much change from 2007, but it’s only been a week, right? Anyway, teenaged phenom Taylor Swift holds tight to the number one spot on the singles charts with “Our Song”. There wasn’t much movement at all on the singles charts except a few minor place changes at the tail end of the top ten.
Over at the albums charts, the Eagles seem to be unbeatable and Garth Brooks is breathing down their necks for the top spot. Speaking of Garth Brooks, he will be a part of a press conference from Daytona International Speedway tomorrow. I’ll let you know what the big announcement is after it’s made.
If you want to see the top ten country music singles and country music albums of the week, keep reading after the jump.
