Country Music Charts, Week Ending 12/8/07

by Heather Scoville

tobychristmas.jpgThere just hasn’t been any real movement in any country charts recently. There haven’t been any new albums, really, in the last couple of weeks to hit the shelves, so the album chart has been pretty steady. The Eagles did regain the top spot, knocking out Garth Brooks’ “Ultimate Hits” album. There is a seasonal entry into the top ten this week, too, as Christmas nears. Toby Keith’s “A Classic Christmas” made its debut in the top ten albums this week.

On the singles side of things, Carrie Underwood is hanging on to number one with “So Small”. There wasn’t much movement up or down the singles charts this week. However, Sugarland did break into the top ten this week with their latest single “Stay”.

To see all of the top ten country music singles and albums, keep reading after the jump.
