Country Music Charts, Week Ending 11/10/07
There wasn’t a whole lot of movement on either the country music singles charts or the country music album charts this week. However, the huge surprise was The Eagles not only took the top spot on the album charts, they absolutely annihilated the competition in all genres. Selling somewhere in the range of 750,000 copies in their first week, they more than doubled troubled pop tart Britney Spears’ new album. Not only is that an amazing feat in and of itself, the new album from The Eagles was only available to purchase at Walmarts across the country.
