Country Music Charts, Week Ending 10/6/07
As predicted, Rascal Flatts dominated the album charts with their new release “Still Feels Good”. However, they weren’t able to make it a double strike as Brad Paisley hit the top of the singles charts with “Online”. It was still great news for Rascal Flatts whose album sold over 500,000 units, which is more than any country album since their last record “Me and My Gang” debuted with over 700,000 sold. Not only did the trio earn the top spot on the country album charts, they were the number one sellers of all albums and hit the top of the Billboard 200 in their first release week. In fact, Rascal Flatts currently has 2 albums in the top 10 of the country music album charts with “Me and My Gang” holding strong in 5th place. Their current single “Take Me There” off the new album fell to second this week after an extended stay at the top of the charts.
