Country Music Charts, Week Ending 10/27/07
This week on the country music charts didn’t see much movement with the number one spots for both the singles charts and the albums charts staying the same. Kenny Chesney’s latest hit, “Don’t Blink” was able to hold off a hard charging Dierks Bentley with “Free and Easy (Down the Road I Go)” who jumped a few places to land at number two. Will he be able to keep Dierks at bay for another week?
Also, the unshakable Rascal Flatts album “Still Feels Good” enjoyed another week in the spotlight. However, their reign could very well be over shortly. Carrie Underwood’s newest CD “Carnival Ride” hit the shelves last Tuesday and is projected to top both the country and pop charts next week. Fueled by the single “So Small” (currently at #4 on the country music singles chart), Carrie’s CD will most likely knock out Rascal Flatts on next week’s charts.
