[...] the giving spirit in people, and country music stars are no different. Many Nashville superstars help out different charities all throughout the year, but it seems everyone steps it up at this time of year and either holds an event or announces one [...]

  2. Christy Says:

I wanted to meet Reba McEntire this past summer.I bid on and won a backstage pass.It was from Charityfolks.com.

The venue didn’t recognize it,two employees told me that the only backstage passes available were through their radio station.

The second employee I talked to told me that
if I figured I came across a fraudulent site
I could call the police if I wanted to.

Before I bid,I emailed Charityfolks.com questions. The last one was answered by a Shannon. She told me I could contact her personally from then on.She said that Reba’s management is in charge of her backstage passes. The venue told me that Reba’s
management has nothing to do with her
    backstage passes.

Shannon told me that she herself lets Reba’s management know of the winning bidders. My name wasn’t on the venue list as it should’ve been. The first venue worker asked a Will Call employee about me and Charityfolks.com.This employee didn’t recognize my name and had never heard of Charityfolks.com.

Shannon told me that I’d get a call from Reba’s management on the day of Reba’s performance. No call came. The motel I was staying at had a computer in its lobby.I emailed Shannon the motel’s number, and told her to tell the person that was to call me to phone the motel and ask for me.

I phoned Shannon after I got home and asked her why no one phoned. She told me that Reba’s management had gotten the wrong number. And I had emailed Shannon the right one!No typos.I made sure of that.

I never got to meet Reba, and lost over five hundred dollars.

I wish Reba could get word of my story.

The sixty-four thousand dollar question is:
    Is Charityfolks.com for real?

Those two venue workers sure didn’t think
    it is.

    I agree with them.

    If Charityfolks.com is for real,I should’ve
been able to meet Reba. And no mention of
fraudulent site and police would’ve been
    made.

And one more thing:I wonder who Lindsay is?
Shannon told me to go the venue and ask for her so I could get this backstage pass and
    ticket.

I wish someone would ask Reba or her management if she has anything to do
with Charityfolks.com.And I wish someone would do a full investigation.Reba’s cause,
Habitat For Humanity, was listed as the seller of this backstage pass.

I would like to know the truth about this
    Charityfolks.com.
