Tim McGraw’s 2008 Tour Announced

Friday, February 1st, 2008

tim.jpgThe summer tour information is coming out finally and one of the biggest names in country music has announced his summer tour dates. The superstar country music artist is none other than Tim McGraw. He will be touring for a couple of months summer all across the country with opening acts such as Jason Aldean and Halfway to Hazard. He will also share the stage with some new artists signed to the label he co-owns. These acts will include Lance Miller and Catherine Raney.

If you hit up a Tim McGraw show, you can also register to vote at the time, as he has partnered with Rock the Vote. Also, if you just happen to get passes to a special VIP session prior to the concert, you will be treated to barbecue sponsored by KC Masterpiece and Kingsford charcoal while Tim himself plays a private acoustic set at the party.

The “Live Your Voice” tour will begin on May 9th in Tampa, Florida, and will end July 6th in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. There is no word if Tim’s wife, Faith Hill, will make any appearances during the tour. The rest of the tour dates have not been confirmed as of yet, but I will update you as soon as they are all confirmed. There are other sites out there with lists of dates, but all of them are different at this point and there has been no official list released as of yet. Hopefully it won’t be too long, so check back here soon or keep your eye on Tim McGraw’s official website for the correct list of dates.

Superstar Concert Dates Announced

Wednesday, January 23rd, 2008

chesneyalbum.jpgAs if seeing multi-year Entertainer of the Year Award winner Kenny Chesney in concert isn’t enough, several other superstar acts have been added to his spring and summer Poets and Pirates stadium tour as co-headliners and opening acts. Can you imagine the insanity that is sure to ensue at these venues when they see not only Kenny Chesney, but at the same time get to see Keith Urban, Leann Rimes, Big and Rich, Brooks and Dunn, Gary Allan, Luke Bryan, or even Sammy Hagar (okay, so maybe not as much as the others, but you get my drift)? All of those amazing artists have signed on to perform at least one of Chesney’s stadium concerts, and Leann Rimes will perform at all of them.

Brooks and Dunn will take the stage at 5 of the concerts in Columbia, S.C., (April 26), Dallas (May 3), San Francisco (June 8), Atlanta (July 13) and Baltimore (May 10). Keith Urban will join Kenny Chesney at 9 of his shows including Cleveland (May 24), Phoenix (May 31), Pittsburgh (June 14), Chicago (June 21), Nashville (July 5), Philadelphia (July 19), Foxboro, Mass. (July 27), Detroit (Aug. 2) and Indianapolis (Sept. 13). The other mentioned artists have been signed on for at least one show, but dates and locations for their performances have not yet been released.

Keep your eyes peeled at Kenny Chesney’s Official Site and also at Ticketmaster.com for more ticket and opening act information and to find a concert near you.

The blonde and well coiffed duo of Carrie Underwood and Keith Urban will be jumping on their tour buses and performing in venues across the United States. Urban has had 7 singles top the charts, while Underwood is right behind with 5, including her current #1 single “So Small” off of her “Carnival Ride” CD.

CMT on Tour

Three of country’s hottest acts are teaming up and touring the country for the CMT On Tour 2007 show. The featured artists–Sugarland, Little Big Town, and Jake Owen–will start their tour in Charleston, SC on September 27th and wrap it up on December 15th in Huntsville, AL.

Brad Paisley

Country music’s resident funny song man is currently starring in the “Bonfires and Amplifiers” tour. The last stop for Brad and his scheduled opening acts Taylor Swift and Rodney Atkins will be December 1st in Columbus, OH.

Keith Urban

Keith is about to wrap up his first leg of the Love, Pain, & the Whole Crazy Thing tour on September 22nd in Canada, but he has announced there will be a second leg of the tour with cities added mainly on the East Coast. However, no dates have been given yet, so check back to his site often for that announcement. Gary Allan will open the shows for him once again.

Dierks Bentley

Dierks is perpetually on tour, so there are no real beginning or end dates for Dierks Bentley’s tours. Dates are listed through December right now, but check back often as more are sure to be added.

There are still a few dates left to catch Blake Shelton, Toby Keith, and Rascal Flatts. Check out CMT.com for those tours and more of your favorite country music artists’ shows.
